SILK ROAD JOURNAL OF MANAGEMENT

Connecting management ideas across contexts and cultures.

Silk Road Journal of Management is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing understanding of management, organizations, and work as globally connected yet locally enacted phenomena.

Inspired by the historical Silk Road as a space of exchange and mutual learning, the journal provides a platform for research that helps scholars, practitioners, and policy actors make sense of contemporary managerial and organizational challenges across diverse contexts.

We publish contributions that are empirically grounded and theoretically informed, offering insights into how organizational and managerial issues unfold across different social, cultural, institutional, and historical settings. The journal places particular emphasis on work that speaks beyond a single context and contributes to broader conversations in management and organization studies.

The journal welcomes submissions from around the world and is especially receptive to research from underrepresented and transitional contexts, provided it engages with questions of wider relevance.
